Introduction to Database Management System

A database management system (DBMS) is a computer software application that interacts with the user, other applications, and the database itself to capture and analyses data.

A general-purpose DBMS is designed to allow the definition, creation, querying, update, and administration of databases. The training is offered to familiarize trainees with concepts of Database Management system, develop trainees’ skills on Data Recording and Querying as well as using PostgreSQL to organize and retrieve data inside the computer. The training in the brief will be grouped into three parts that, taken together, form a solid introduction to database programming. Because knowledge is cumulative, the early topics provide the conceptual basis for understanding Database Management System and guide you through simple examples and exercises; subsequent topics progressively present PostgreSQLin detail, culminating with the development of comprehensive DMS applications
